My story
Who?
I am a career-changing UX designer with a progressive mindset and an extensive amount of customer service experience.
In the last decade, I have been fortunate enough to have had many opportunities through my professional development in various roles to challenge myself. Hospitality work took me from the warm Mediterranean climates, working in independent bars and restaurants to mainland China, where I helped open a niche cocktail bar and created products and events for locals and foreigners – this taught me the power of transparent communication and active listening.
My natural openness and flexibility allow my colleagues to develop their ideas and present them without feeling negatively criticised.

I have an innate curiosity and am driven to provide people with seamless experiences, and as a firm believer in collaboration, I have a genuine interest in the people I design with and for.

I was attracted to this profession as it provides the opportunity to use my abilities to problem-solve collaboratively - whether it is with independent design or interdisciplinary teams. I really enjoy the concept of smooth interface and wish to become involved in making websites and apps more user-friendly, inter-generational and bridging the gap between the human element and technology to get the best results.

The position I am seeking is one where I am able to plan and track my own progression to gain more experience in UX design and would be very excited to join a company that could offer this.

Leadership, human psychology and behavior ...
By immersing myself in related articles, podcasts, and talks, I not only gain a deeper understanding of myself but also of others, which helps me in leading and relating to people. I have a strong fascination for social anthropology and human psychology therefore understanding the interconnected aspects of what makes us human is something I find fascinating to investigate.

Exploration…
Exploring new cultures, cuisines, hobbies, activities, and meet people with diverse perspectives. Attending events and conferences, engaging in discussions with opinionated individuals, and learning something new are great sources of energy for me.

Mobility…
Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I practiced aerobic gymnastics rigorously, which led me to win national championships and receive several awards. Nowadays when I need a boost in my mood, movement is what I turn to.
